Offline saves
When your phone has no signal, no data, or 3% battery — screenshots and notes still work. Save the important stuff where it doesn't need internet.
What to do
- 1
Save these as screenshots or notes: hotel address (Chinese), booking confirmation, passport copy, train/flight details, emergency contacts.
- 2
Save your key Chinese phrases: "take me to this address," "I have a reservation," "my payment isn't working," "can you help me?"
- 3
Put everything in one folder you can find when you're exhausted. Name it something obvious like "China Day 1."
- 4
Pin your hotel address in your notes app or set it as your lock screen wallpaper for the first night.
Double-check before you rely on this
Your offline saves actually open in airplane mode (test it).
Important stuff isn't buried inside a chat app that needs internet to load history.
A travel companion or family member has copies too, in case your phone is lost.
