Shenzhen First Day: Arrival point choices

Save the exact arrival point: Shenzhen Bao’an Airport (SZX), a named land checkpoint or the railway station on your ticket. Futian Checkpoint and Futian station are different places.

What to do

    For SZX, the airport’s guide lists Metro Line 11 at Airport station. Airport East is a different station; match the station name to the terminal.

    If arriving from Hong Kong by land, check the specific checkpoint’s current opening arrangements and your entry requirements separately before travel.

    Futian Checkpoint connects with Lines 4 and 10. Do not route yourself to Futian station just because both names contain Futian.

    Save your hotel’s Chinese address and district. Nanshan, Futian and Luohu are separate areas; choose a route to the actual hotel branch.
